Lawyers at Sheppard Mullin on Wednesday removed an employment lawsuit filed by the State of California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement against Save Mart Supermarkets to California Central District Court. The suit accuses Save Mart of unlawfully imposing a one-day waiting period before providing paid sick leave. The case is 2:21-cv-07402, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement v. Save Mart Supermarkets et al.
