Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell filed a lawsuit Friday in Florida Middle District Court targeting Simone Gold, a physician who received a 60-day prison sentence in June due to her participation in the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol. The suit, brought by America's Frontline Doctors, seeks to block Gold, the organization's founder, from representing herself as affiliated with the organization or interfering in its operations. Counsel have not yet appeared for Gold. The case is 2:22-cv-00714, Free Speech Foundation, Inc. d/b/a America's Frontline Doctors, Inc. et al v. Gold.
