Manatt, Phelps & Phillips sued the City of San Jose Wednesday in California Northern District Court on behalf of landowners in the region's North Coyote Valley. The suit accuses the city of scuttling a $44 million sale by unfairly changing the land use designation from 'Industrial Park' to 'Agriculture.' Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 5:22-cv-00837, Fv Coyote LLC et al v. City of San Jose et al.
