Lawyers at Baker & Hostetler and Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders on Tuesday removed a consumer class action against Chick-fil-A to Florida Southern District Court. The complaint, filed by Shamis & Gentile and other law firms, contends that the popular fast food chain falsely advertises online and through its mobile app that deliveries are free or low in price, while marking up food charges as high as 30 percent. The case is 1:22-cv-21897, Goldstein v. Chick-Fil-A, Inc.
