Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont nominated former prosecutor and Appellate Court Judge Joan K. Alexander to serve on the state Supreme Court, his office announced Wednesday. If confirmed, Alexander, 59, a Cromwell resident, will fill the vacancy of Associate Justice Christine E. Keller, who took senior status. Meanwhile, Lamont nominated Superior Court Judge Hope C. Seeley of Coventry to fill the expected opening on the Appellate Court.
