Smith, Gambrell & Russell filed a civil RICO lawsuit Tuesday in Florida Southern District Court on behalf of Geico. The suit, which targets East Coast Medical Rehab Inc. and other defendants, accuses the defendants of filing over $4.6 million in fraudulent claims for services allegedly provided for automobile accident victims. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-20617, Government Employees Insurance Company et al v. Marquez et al.
