Bayer U.S. was hit with a consumer class action Tuesday in New Jersey District Court over its Lotrimin and Tinactin antifungal spray products. The complaint, brought by Bursor & Fisher, claims that the antifungal sprays contain dangerously high levels of the carcinogen benzene. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:21-cv-20021, Huertas et al. v. Bayer U.S. LLC.
