Keker, Van Nest & Peters partners Nicholas Goldberg and Elizabeth K. McCloseky have entered appearances for Par Pharmaceutical Inc. in a pending antitrust lawsuit. The suit, filed Oct. 8 in California Northern District Court by Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky and Lowey Dannenberg on behalf of Humana, claims that the defendants engaged in a scheme to restrain competition for the narcolepsy treatment Xyrem and its generic bioequivalents in the United States. The case, assigned to U.S. Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler, is 3:21-cv-07934, Humana Inc. v. Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. et al.
