Brother International Corp. and Brother Industries (U.S.A.) Inc. were hit with a consumer class action Monday in New Jersey District Court. The suit, backed by Bursor & Fisher, alleges that the printer company unlawfully conditioned its warranties on use of an authorized repair service. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants.
