DoorDash, the app-based food delivery service, was slapped with a consumer class action Monday in California Northern District Court in connection with the company's promise of free delivery. The suit, filed by Ellis George Cipollone O'Brien Annaguey, accuses DoorDash of hiding delivery fees in the purchase price of individual items ordered on the app. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:22-cv-04059, Lawson v. Doordash, Inc.
