Holland & Knight partner Kevin Cox has entered an appearance for marketing platform SharpSpring Inc. and former members of its board of directors in a pending securities class action. The action, filed Dec. 20 in Florida Northern District Court by Smith, Gambrell & Russell and Monteverde & Associates, accuses the defendants of making false statements prior to the all-cash sale of SharpSpring to marketing tech company Constant Contact Inc. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Robert L. Hinkle, is 1:21-cv-00209, Morse v. Sharpspring Inc et al.
