Ballard Spahr and Lamb McErlane PC filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit on May 30 in Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Chester County on behalf of drug developer Galera Therapeutics. The suit brings claims against Alira Health Clinic and Iqvia Biotech, which allegedly failed to properly analyze the results of a clinical trial for Avasopasem, a drug developed by Galera to treat severe oral mucositis. According to the complaint, the defendants generated invalid statistical reports that claimed the trial was unsuccessful when in reality it was successful.
