Medtronic, its subsidiary Covidien and other defendants were slapped with a product liability lawsuit Tuesday in New Jersey District Court. The court action, filed by Napoli Shkolnik on behalf of Burl A. Peveto, is part of a wave of litigation over alleged injuries arising from Covidien's hernia mesh. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:22-cv-01941, Peveto v. Ethicon Corporation, Inc. et al.
