Pro Sports Extra was slapped with a copyright infringement lawsuit on Sept. 20 in Michigan Western District Court in connection with a photograph of Richard Stafford, attorney for the family of Gabby Petito, who was killed by her fiancé Brian Laundrie two years ago. The lawsuit was filed by Sanders Law Group on behalf of Dennis Clark, who claims the image was used by the defendant without permission. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:23-cv-00181, Clark v. Pro Sports Extra, LLC.
