AI-based recruitment platform Jobiak, which leverages machine learning to rapidly publish job postings on Google and optimize job descriptions in real time, filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against competitor Botmakers LLC d/b/a Tarta.ai on Oct. 12 in California Central District Court. The suit, brought by the Omni Legal Group, accuses the defendant of scraping data from the plaintiff's database and incorporating the plaintiff's content into its own job listings. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:23-cv-08604, Jobiak LLC v. Botmakers LLC.
