Ocean Spray Cranberries was hit with a false advertising class action on March 25 in California Southern District Court over its cranberry products. The complaint, filed by Fitzgerald Monroe Flynn, contends that the labels for the defendant's dried cranberries and cranberry bites intentionally omit material information regarding the levels of sugar contained in the products. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 3:24-cv-00565, Elders v. Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.
