Novo Nordisk filed a trademark infringement and false advertising lawsuit on May 30 in Colorado District Court. The court action, brought by Covington & Burling and Seed IP Law Group, takes aim at Weight Loss MD for allegedly marketing a generic form of the obesity medication Wegovy despite not receiving FDA approval. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:24-cv-01525, Novo Nordisk A/s v. Cherry Creek Aesthetics & Massage Inc.
