New Suit - Trademark

McGraw Hill and other plaintiffs sued Google on June 5 in New York Southern District Court over alleged copyright and trademark infringement claims. The court action, filed by Oppenheim + Zebrak, contends that Google has failed to remove thousands of ads for unauthorized copies of the plaintiffs' textbooks and educational works. Additionally, the plaintiffs argue that the use of unauthorized images of the textbooks misleads consumers into believing that they are buying a legitimate product made by the plaintiffs. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:24-cv-04274, Cengage Learning, Inc. v. Google LLC.
