New Suit - Antitrust Class Action

Hartford HealthCare and other defendants were named in an antitrust class action on June 14 in Connecticut District Court. The court action accuses the defendants of coordinating the pricing and other business decisions of thousands of purportedly independent physician practices around Connecticut. The complaint alleges that Hartford HealthCare coerces providers to join its subsidiary, preventing them from joining other networks or negotiating separately with health plans. The suit was filed by Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, Aeton Law Partners, Freed Kanner London & Millen, Berger Montague PC and Hach Rose Schirripa & Cheverie. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:24-cv-01051, Estuary Transit District v. Hartford Healthcare Corporation.
