U-Haul Holding Company, the parent company of U-Haul and other businesses, and Republic Western Insurance Co. were sued on June 26 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court over alleged employment discrimination. The court action was filed by attorney Wayne A. Ely on behalf of a former special investigator who claims that she was terminated because of her gender. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:24-cv-02781, Del Tito v. Republic Western Insurance Co.
