Axsome Therapeutics filed a patent infringement lawsuit on Aug. 21 in New Jersey District Court. The suit, brought by Saul Ewing and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, takes aim at Aurobindo Pharma over its efforts to garner FDA approval to manufacture and sell generic versions of the plaintiff's drug Sunosi, used to treat narcolepsy and sleep apnea. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:24-cv-08624, Axsome Malta Ltd. v. Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc.
