Blank Rome filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit Tuesday in New York Southern District Court against the Republic of Haiti and its Bureau de Monétisation des Programmes d'Aide au Développement. The suit, filed on behalf of Preble-Rish Haiti, seeks over $27 million in damages resulting from the alleged breach of contracts for the delivery of fuel to Haiti. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 4:21-cv-01953, Preble-Rish Haiti, S.A. v. Republic of Haiti et al.
