Counsel at Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell on Monday removed a civil rights lawsuit against the Orange County School Board to Florida Middle District Court. The suit was filed by Paul Knopf Bigger on behalf of a mother who claims that the school did not respond properly when a teacher reported that her daughter, who has special needs, was sexually assaulted by another student. The case is 6:22-cv-00344, Preston v. Orange County School Board.
