K&L Gates partner Jerry S. McDevitt has stepped in as defense counsel to World Wrestling Entertainment, CEO Vincent K. McMahon and other defendants in a shareholder derivative lawsuit. The suit, part of a string of litigation alleging that the defendants misled investors regarding WWE's media partnerships in the Middle East, was filed June 10 in Connecticut District Court by Levi & Korsinsky. Paul Weiss and Day Pitney are also counsel to the WWE defendants. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny, is 3:21-cv-00793, Rezendes v. McMahon et al.
