Kirkland & Ellis partner Kristina R. Cary has stepped in to represent Dyson Technology Ltd. and Dyson in a pending patent lawsuit. The action, filed Aug. 19 in Massachusetts District Court by Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr on behalf of SharkNinja Operating and SharkNinja Sales Co., seeks a declaration of non-infringement for five patents pertaining to vacuum cleaners. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Allison D. Burroughs, is 1:24-cv-12130, SharkNinja Operating LLC et al v. Dyson, Inc. et al.
