Lawyers at Ballard Spahr on Wednesday removed an employment discrimination lawsuit against the American Society of Mechanical Engineers to New Jersey District Court. The complaint was filed by O'Connor, Parsons, Lane & Noble on behalf of Jahanara Siddiqui, who claims she suffered harassment in retaliation for taking leave after her father passed away from COVID-19 complications. The case is 2:22-cv-00046, Siddiqui v. The American Society of Mechanical Engineers et al.
