Lyft and HireRight were hit with an employment lawsuit Friday in New York Southern District Court. The court action was brought by the Consumer Justice Law Firm on behalf of a Lyft driver who claims HireRight misrepresented his driving record in a background check. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 1:22-cv-00154, Singh v. HireRight, LLC et al.
