Black fashion website The Zeal Life was sued for copyright infringement Thursday in Georgia Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Sanders Law Group on behalf of photographer Byron Smith, centers on a photo taken by Smith at a 2019 protest. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 1:22-cv-01189, Smith v. The Zeal Life LLC.
