Zoom Video Communications, the popular videoconferencing platform, was slapped with a class action lawsuit Tuesday in California Northern District Court. The suit, filed by Tycko & Zavareei, alleges that Zoom has been illegally sharing user information with Facebook and other social media sites in order to target advertising. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 5:20-cv-02170, Taylor v. Zoom Video Communications, Inc.
