Buchalter filed a civil RICO lawsuit Tuesday in California Southern District Court against 1792 Partners General Partnership and Reza Kazemipour. The complaint was brought on behalf of Reza Tirgari, who accuses Kazemipour of misappropriating money intended for investment in startup companies in order to pay for personal expenses and 'lavish' travel accommodations. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 3:22-cv-00541, Tirgari v. Kazemipour et al.
