McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter filed a lawsuit alleging misappropriation of funds Wednesday in Florida Southern District Court on behalf of Travelers as subrogee of EPES Logistics Services. The complaint targets Carlos Sanchez, a former manager for EPES, for allegedly submitting fraudulent invoices totaling over $698,000. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 0:22-cv-60143, Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America, as assignee and subrogee of EPES Logistics Services, Inc. v. Sanchez.
