General Motors and AmeriCredit Financial Services d/b/a GM Financial were slapped with a civil rights lawsuit Thursday in Michigan Eastern District Court on behalf of the Arab-American owners of two GM and Buick car dealerships. The case was filed by Bellavia Blatt PC and King and Murray on behalf of the dealerships, which contend they were subject to racist and disparate treatment from GM. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:20-cv-11269, TRBR Inc. d/b/a Superior Buick GMC et al v. AmeriCredit Financial Services Inc. d/b/a GM Financial et al.
