Chad W. Moeller and Alissa J. Griffin of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg and Abbey Kinson Brown of Calfee, Halter & Griswold have stepped in to defend Pet Factory, a beef hide products manufacturer, in a pending employment discrimination lawsuit. The case was brought by the Garfinkel Group on behalf of a packer who contends that she was wrongfully terminated after seeking accommodations for pain in her hands. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Joan B. Gottschall, is 1:24-cv-05116, Vazquez v. Pet Factory, LLC.
