Stinson LLP partner Zane A. Gilmer has entered an appearance for Rouge Equity LLC, Sanctuary Broadway Multifamily LLC and Sanctuary MGR LLC in a pending securities fraud lawsuit. The complaint was filed June 14 in Wyoming District Court by Hathaway & Kunz on behalf of Gregory Wasserson and James Wasserson, who invested $1.5 million for the defendants' purchase and operation of an apartment complex; according to the complaint, the defendants failed to disclose that non-party Electra Capital PM II, with whom the defendants had entered a joint venture, would also provide financing and obtain equity. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Alan B. Johnson, is 2:24-cv-00124, Wasserson et al v. Sanctuary Broadway Multifamily LLC et al.
