Douglas County Probate Judge Christina Peterson's first term of office has come to an early end.The jurist had been set to step down from the bench on Dec. 31 after voters recently opted not to elect Peterson to another four-year term, but on Tuesday, the Supreme Court of Georgia ruled the jurist be removed from office effective June 25.
