Travel & Leisure, the Orlando-based timeshare company formerly known as Wyndham Destinations, sued Options Travel Group and other defendants Wednesday in Florida Middle District Court over alleged violations of the Lanham Act. The suit, brought by Shutts & Bowen, accuses defendants of falsely advertising lawyer services to timeshare owners that claim to aid in allowing for the 'cancellation' of existing timeshare contracts. Lawyers have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 6:21-cv-01937, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Inc. et al v. Dvd II Group, LLC d/b/a Options Travel Group et al.
