A Florida jury has found property ownership company Report Investment Corp. liable for $102.7 million in medical expenses and lost earnings for Sami Barrak, who was shot in a parking lot owned by the company. An assailant attacked and attempted to rob Barrak after he visited a strip club adjacent to the parking lot. Barrak alleged the firm negligently maintained an unsafe environment by not keeping the lot safe at night.
