There have been 13 DNA exonerations in Dallas County in recent years, so it seemed just a matter of time before some of these men would pursue lawsuits. So far, three exonerees have filed civil rights suits in federal court in Texas against those entities and individuals whom they believe were responsible for their wrongful convictions, with two more suits expected soon.
