Stanford Wants New Trial After Discrimination Verdict
Complaining that it was wrong for the judge to admit certain evidence into Colleen Crangle's retaliation trial, Stanford University has announced it will ask for a new trial. A federal jury of four men and four women found that Crangle was fired from the Stanford Medical School's Section of Medical Informatics because she had complained about sexual discrimination. Stanford complains that evidence of "pervasive discrimination" against women on the Stanford campus should not have been admitted at trial.Trending Stories
