Steptoe & Johnson Fumes at Nearby Burger Joint

Steptoe & Johnson is fighting with a high-end hamburger restaurant over whether fumes from the Washington, D.C., restaurant are causing health problems for the law firm's employees -- including headaches, nausea, "drowsiness and distraction." Steptoe asked a D.C. Superior Court judge to issue an injunction barring the eatery from continuing to emit smoke and odors. In a Thursday hearing, Judge John McAdams Mott delayed a final ruling on whether to grant injunctive relief, instead urging the parties to reach an agreement.
