Big Law Partner and Ex-Basketball Star Dies at 52

Marc Marotta, a corporate and public affairs partner at Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee and one of Wisconsin's most respected attorneys, died Wednesday of a brain aneurysm. A former high school and college basketball star, Marotta was drafted by the National Basketball Association's New York Knicks in 1984, but chose Harvard Law School instead. Nonetheless, he remained close to the game he loved.
