Benlate Case Heats Up Over Document Accusations
DuPont surrendered more than 37,000 documents to comply with a court order requiring the production of documents in a suit dating back to 1992, but Florida growers say 67,000 more documents are still needed. Attorney Robert Ratiner, who represents five growers claiming crop losses from their use of the Benlate fungicide, accuses DuPont of indexing documents in a manner designed to keep plaintiffs "chasing their tail."
