Chinese mining company Yanzhou Coal has struck a deal to acquire Australian coal company Felix Resources for $2.9 billion. This is the biggest deal between China and Australia since British-Australian mining giant Rio Tinto rejected China's offer of $19.5 billion in exchange for an 18.5 percent stake in the company. Felix was advised by Allens Arthur Robinson, a Sydney-based firm with offices throughout Asia.
