Slaughter and May is set to strengthen its ties in emerging markets. The Magic Circle law firm is looking to upgrade its secondment program to help build its international connections. The elite U.K. firm is reviewing its relationships outside Europe in the wake of its recent management overhaul, with a particular focus on China and India. The move comes as a number of Slaughter's rivals have been moving to build up their operations in regions less affected by the market downturn.
