A federal judge in Michigan has dealt a blow to professionals working on the Collins & Aikman bankruptcy by indicating that a fee examiner may be appointed to investigate millions of dollars in fees racked up by the liquidating auto parts maker. So far, lawyers have requested about $88 million, a figure that Judge Steven Rhodes said will "undoubtedly be much higher" by the time the case concludes. Rhodes' proposed order names Judy A.
