Impeachment Inquiry Lawyer Gets Practice Pass

Stephen Reich, the New York lawyer hired to oversee the impeachment investigation of Connecticut Gov. John Rowland, is already making new law, with the granting of his emergency petition for pro hac vice admission to the Connecticut Bar. Temporary passes to practice had previously been granted only if a lawyer was litigating a case in a courtroom. Reich is not expected to appear in court.
