Indianapolis' Sommer Barnard, which has about 100 lawyers, has announced it is merging with Cincinnati's Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, which has about 220 lawyers. The merger is effective May 1. Attorneys at Cleveland-based Kahn Kleinman plan to merge with Cincinnati-based Taft, Stettinius and Hollister, creating an Ohio law firm with 350 lawyers. Lawyers at Kahn Kleinman's single office in Cleveland will be merged into Taft Stettinius' office in the same city.
