Companies raising venture capital saw improved valuations for the fourth quarter in a row, according to Fenwick & West's Second Quarter 2010 Silicon Valley Venture Capital Survey. The survey showed that 55 percent of companies sold equity on more favorable terms, compared to 27 percent who saw less favorable terms than in the previous round of financing. But the trend may not continue if the economy stagnates, cautioned Fenwick & West partner Barry Kramer, co-author of the survey.
