Australian Firm Blake Dawson Opens Tokyo Office

Australian law firm Blake Dawson has opened a Tokyo office, the firm announced Monday. It is the first Australian firm to be licensed to practice in Japan. The new office is intended to funnel business to Blake Dawson's energy and natural resources practices. Though Chinese state-owned enterprises have been the highest-profile investors in Australian iron ore and natural gas assets in recent years, Japanese companies have long been highly active Down Under.
