Fired School Principal Alleged Retaliatory Termination

In February 2019, plaintiff Esther Purnell, 57, a Black female, was terminated from her position as school principal of Radnor Middle School. She claimed her termination was retaliatory. Purnell sued the Radnor Township School District. She alleged that the school district violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act.
